Respected Mrs agony aunt,

    I am --- ----  from  ------.    I am 17 years old.  I have finished .... recently.   I have applied for admission in the universities at  1   and   2.   I guess that I will get admission in either of them.  I want to decide which one to join.  
   
   My parents do not think that I can take care of myself very well.  They prefer that I take admission in the   1  university.  This is nearby to our residence.  My parents want me to stay with them, or at least be very close to them.   However, I feel that I can take care of myself very well and I want to go to the 2 university.  Further, I have some friends of mine joining also at  2  university. 

   I am unable to decide what to do. Can you advise me please?
